Description
OLLO contains 150 different logatomes, i.e. non-sense words, which are composed of combinations of vowel-consonant-vowel (VCV) or consonant-vowel-consonant (CVC) with identical outer phonemes. Each logatome was spoken with different speaking style, effort and rate. The speakers were asked to speak each logatome loudly, softly, fast, slowly, as a question, and normally. Speakers originating from various dialect / accent regions were recorded to enable an analysis of these factors on speech recognition. Some of the properties of the database are listed in the table below.
